As part of the 2025 Education Convention and in celebration of Social Science, SAMAPA successfully conducted the “SAMAPA Debate: Matira Matibay” from April 28–30, 2025. The event served as an intellectual platform where students demonstrated their public speaking, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and argumentation skills through engaging debates on relevant and pressing issues in the field of education. Participants confidently defended their perspectives while promoting respectful discourse, evidence-based reasoning, and appreciation for diverse viewpoints. The activity strengthened students’ communication competencies, encouraged civic engagement, and fostered a culture of informed dialogue and collaboration, contributing to the development of future educators and socially responsible leaders.
