AND FIELD TRAINING FOR FARMERS 2ND BATCH
The Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) successfully conducted the ASSIST YABONG: Soil Health and Water Quality Training and Field Training for Farmers (2nd Batch) on January 17, 2025, in Norzagaray, Bulacan. The activity brought together local farmers for a hands-on learning experience focused on improving soil conditions and protecting water quality to support sustainable agricultural practices.
Through interactive discussions and field demonstrations, participants gained practical knowledge on proper soil management, nutrient balance, and water conservation techniques. The training emphasized the importance of maintaining healthy soil and clean water sources to increase crop productivity while minimizing environmental impact.
The program also served as a platform for knowledge exchange, allowing farmers to share experiences and challenges in their farming practices. By strengthening farmers’ technical skills and environmental awareness, BASC reinforced its commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture, food security, and environmental protection in rural communities.
