The Training Workshop on AI for Good held on May 16, 2025 focused on promoting the responsible and ethical integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education. The workshop highlighted AI’s potential to improve teaching and learning through personalized education, intelligent systems, and data-driven strategies while addressing challenges such as misinformation, bias, and academic integrity concerns.

The activity aimed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to use AI effectively and responsibly by developing policies and guidelines that support digital responsibility, innovation, and future-ready education.

The resource person, Dr. Glenn Medalion Caiaguas, an AI for Good Certified Instructor from Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU), shared his expertise in education, research, and AI integration. With extensive leadership experience and recognition in the academic field, he emphasized the importance of using AI as a tool to create inclusive, meaningful, and innovative learning environments rather than as a replacement for educators.
