The 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) at Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) highlighted the institution’s commitment to gender equality, inclusivity, and women’s empowerment. Guided by the theme “WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society” and the sub-theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the celebration aligned with national and international frameworks such as the Magna Carta of Women, the Beijing Platform for Action, and Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.
The event aimed to raise awareness about gender issues, promote gender-responsive governance, and encourage the active participation of women in leadership and economic development. BASC emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive society where all individuals, regardless of gender, can contribute and succeed. As part of the celebration, the College of Engineering and Technology (CEAT) led the kickoff activities during the flag ceremony, inspiring women and girls to become agents of change and advocates for gender equality.
