Selected teaching and non-teaching personnel of Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) actively participated in the Association of State Colleges and Universities–Solid North (ASCU-SN) Festival 2025, held from July 14 to 18, 2025, at Benguet State University in La Trinidad, Benguet. The annual festival brought together faculty and staff from member institutions across Northern and Central Luzon to celebrate athletic excellence, cultural diversity, camaraderie, and institutional unity through various sports and socio-cultural activities.
As part of the BASC delegation, President Tan, Vice President Santiago, Cultural Director Dr. Sta. Ana, and participating personnel attended the opening program following the parade of delegates for the 2025 Mid-Year Sports and Sociocultural Festival. The opening ceremony, held on July 15, 2025, at the Benguet State University Gymnasium, formally launched the festival under the theme, “Celebrating Athleticism, Culture, and Unity.” The event highlighted the importance of sports and cultural engagement in fostering cooperation, teamwork, and mutual understanding among higher education institutions.
Through its participation, BASC demonstrated its commitment to promoting employee wellness, professional camaraderie, and cultural appreciation. The festival provided an opportunity for teaching and non-teaching personnel to showcase their talents, strengthen relationships with colleagues from other state colleges and universities, and engage in activities that contribute to personal growth and institutional development. Furthermore, the event reinforced the value of collaboration and unity among higher education institutions in advancing shared goals and creating a vibrant academic community.
