CHARTER WEEK’S 4-H PHOTOGRAPHY CONTESTS AND TIKTOK CONTEST

As part of the Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) Charter Week 2025 celebration, the BASC 4-H Club organized a Photography Contest and TikTok Video Contest to encourage students to creatively capture and share their memorable experiences during the festivities. Guided by the theme, “Sometimes you do not realize what is happening, but everything has its limits,” the contests provided students with an opportunity to document the excitement, joy, and meaningful moments of Charter Week through visual storytelling and digital media.

The Photography Contest invited students to portray the spirit and celebration of Charter Week through a single original photograph taken within the BASC premises or during the Color Fun Run. Participants showcased their creativity and storytelling abilities by capturing moments that reflected the vibrant atmosphere of the event. Meanwhile, the TikTok Video Contest challenged students to create original one- to two-minute videos highlighting the most memorable and engaging moments of Charter Week through vlogging, editing, and creative content production.

Both contests were open to all BASC students and emphasized originality, creativity, relevance to the theme, and responsible use of digital media. The activities also promoted student engagement by encouraging participants to share their entries on social media platforms while adhering to contest guidelines that prohibited the use of artificial intelligence-generated content and copyrighted materials. Winners received cash prizes in recognition of their creativity and outstanding submissions.

Through these contests, the BASC 4-H Club successfully fostered student participation, self-expression, digital creativity, and appreciation of campus life. The activity not only preserved memorable experiences from Charter Week but also strengthened students’ communication, artistic, and technological skills while promoting a sense of community and school pride among participants.
