On March 27, 2025, the Builders of Information Technology Society (BITS) successfully conducted a symposium for Second Year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students with the theme “From Vision to Reality: The Capstone Adventure Begins.” The activity was designed to prepare students for their upcoming capstone journey by providing them with essential knowledge, insights, and guidance on the capstone development process.
The symposium introduced participants to the fundamentals of conceptualizing, planning, and developing innovative capstone projects while emphasizing the importance of research, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management. Through informative discussions and practical advice, students gained a clearer understanding of the expectations, challenges, and opportunities involved in creating technology-driven solutions that address real-world problems.
The activity strengthened students’ academic preparedness and encouraged innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration, laying a strong foundation for successful capstone project development and future professional growth.
