The PAFTCONnect 2025, held on April 30, 2025, at the Farmer’s Training Center, Bulacan Agricultural State College, was organized by the Philippine Association of Food Technologists – Upsilon (PAFT-Upsilon) in collaboration with fourth-year BS Food Technology students. Centered on the theme “Learn, Compete, and Collaborate,” the event featured the seminar “Strengthening Horizons through Adaptive Practices and Exploration in Food Technology,” which aimed to broaden students’ knowledge of emerging trends, adaptive practices, and innovations in the field of food technology.
The seminar provided participants with valuable insights from industry professionals and academic experts who shared their expertise on current developments, technological advancements, and best practices in food science and food processing. Through discussions, knowledge sharing, and interaction with resource speakers, students enhanced their technical competencies, critical thinking, and awareness of the evolving demands of the food industry. The event also fostered collaboration among students, faculty members, and industry practitioners, creating meaningful opportunities for professional networking and academic enrichment.
