On January 30, 2025, the Soil Tiller successfully conducted the Journalism Seminar at the BASC Farmers’ Training Center with the theme “Hashtag Media Revolution: Journalism at the Crossroads of Innovation.” The seminar aimed to empower and inspire campus journalists and other interested individuals by enhancing their knowledge and skills in various fields of campus journalism. Participants gained valuable insights into responsible journalism, digital media innovation, ethical reporting, and effective communication in the evolving media landscape. The activity promoted critical thinking, media literacy, and the responsible dissemination of information while encouraging collaboration among aspiring journalists. Through this learning opportunity, the seminar contributed to the development of competent, ethical, and innovative communicators who can positively impact their communities and uphold the principles of truth, transparency, and public engagement.
