The Soil Tiller, the official student publication of Bulacan Agricultural State College, achieved notable success at the 23rd Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC) held on February 5–7 at Palm Cabanas Resort in Arayat, Pampanga. The publication was recognized as the 7th Best Performing Student Publication and earned several awards in both group and individual categories.

Eight staff members also qualified to represent Region III at the upcoming Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC). Among the individual awardees was Andrei Pamintuan, who placed 1st in Layouting and 4th in Literary Graphics Illustration (English). He credited the achievement to the collective efforts and dedication of the entire publication team in using journalism to serve students and uphold truth.

The RHEPC gathered more than 500 delegates from 38 higher education institutions across Region III under the theme “PRESS PLAY: Campus Journalists as Game Changers in Digital Revolution.” Qualified winners will advance to the LHEPC in Lucban, Quezon, continuing to showcase the skills and contributions of student journalists in promoting responsible journalism and amplifying student voices.
