CARBON SEQUESTRATION PROJECT ADJUDGED AS BEST RESEARCH PAPER IN CLAARRDEC REGIONAL SYMPOSIUM

     One of BASC In-House winning research papers titled “Comparative Analysis of Carbon Sequestration Potential across Diverse Ecosystems” won the 1st place for Best Research Paper during the 34th Regional Symposium of R&D Highlights held at Central Luzon State University (CLSU) on December 12.

 

     The presenter for the winning paper was Mr. Gabriel C. Fantilanan from the Institute of Management. The Director for Research, Mr. Rael C. Tejada, also presented a paper titled “Strengthening Communities Affected by Covid-19 Pandemic thru Urban Gardening in Bulacan” under the development category. Also present in the event is Dr. Imee D. Esguerra, Director for Extension Services, along with Ms. Nikki Ann V. Macabontoc who served as the moderator for the research category. 

 

     The symposium is annually organized by Central Luzon Agriculture and Aquatic Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC) with this year’s theme of “Transformative S&T Innovations towards a Resilient and Sustainable Philippine Agriculture”.
