The project management team, leading the DOST-PCAARRD-funded extension project, “Expanding the Women-led Chemical Pesticide-Free Integrated Backyard Farming in Bulacan,” conducted a project monitoring and field visits to the established farms from previous extension projects.

Today, January 31, 2025, the project leader, Dr. Imee D. Esguerra, along with Dr. Imelda S.A. Navarro , Mr. Rodelio T. Alejo, and Ms. Ashlee M. Viagedor, personally visited the demo farms in Brgy. Malipampang and Telapatio, San Ildefonso, Bulacan. The visit was aimed at assessing the status of the farms in preparation for the upcoming “Lakbay Aral” activity of the identified beneficiaries of the newly implemented DOST-PCAARRD funded extension project on February 7, 2025 in their farms.
This activity will offer valuable exposure to the women farmers’ beneficiaries that will give them ideas on the best practices in sustaining a chemical pesticide-free integrated backyard farms.
