The Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS) faculty extensionists in partnership with the Local Government Unit of San Ildefonso, Bulacan officially launched the extension project, “ABCDE: How to Ace Your CSC Exam,” earlier today, February 5, 2025, at the New Municipal Government Hall in Anyatam, San Ildefonso, Bulacan. This program aims to help the employees under the Job Order status of LGU San Ildefonso, Bulacan to prepare for the March 2025 Civil Service Examination by improving their analytical, verbal, and numerical skills, as well as their general knowledge.

The first review session began with a project orientation and mock exam led by the Project Leader Mr. Jerald Valmores and Mr. Jose Marie De Guzman. This assessment will help the project team in identifying the areas where participants need improvement. Following the initial assessment of participants, Mr. Alvin Pangilinan, the session’s resource speaker, shared tips on test-taking strategies. He provided insights into the nature of the Civil Service Exam questions and shared techniques for critical analysis, ensuring that participants will become more familiar with effective answering strategies.

In the next session, participants will focus on verbal ability, numerical ability, and general knowledge to further enhance their skills. This training program is designed to boost the confidence and readiness of government employees, helping them succeed in the Civil Service Exam.
