In the 1st National Graduate I Education Multidisciplinary Research Conference (GEMRC) held on April 29, 2023, at the BulSU E-Library in Bulacan State University, Malolos, Bulacan, Ms. Evelyn Q. Alera with her paper “English Spelling Ability Improvement through Pop Art and Drill: A Sequential Explanatory Mixed-Methods Study” won the Best Paper and Best Presenter Awards.

     The said hybrid conference had more than 200 participants in the onsite part while the online conference via Zoom was joined by 500 participants. During the presentation proper which was divided into thirteen (13) different sessions, Ms. Alera presented her paper under Session 3 for the English Language Category.

     Another presenter from BASC was Mr. Carlo Jaime M. Manguil, whose paper “Library Satisfaction on Library Resources and Services of the Faculty and Students at the Institute of Education, Bulacan Agricultural State College” was presented under Session 1 for the Educational Management Category. 

     Also present with them are the Director for Research, Mr. Rael C. Tejada, Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Jennifer P. Adriano, and other Graduate Studies faculty of BASC.
