BASC WITH UNMAS VISITS PAOMBONG FISH PORT IN COLLABORATION WITH KHAY KIM FISH PORT,

BULACAN PROVINCIAL OFFICE AND PROVINCIAL AGRICULTURE OFFICE

On August 22, 2025, Bulacan Agricultural State College, together with its international partners from UNMAS, conducted an educational visit to the Paombong Fish Port in collaboration with Khay Kim Fish Port, the Bulacan Provincial Office, and the Provincial Agriculture Office.


The activity provided students and faculty with firsthand exposure to fisheries operations, fish handling, and distribution processes. Participants gained valuable insights into how fish ports support food supply chains, livelihoods, and local economies.


Through this collaborative engagement, the visit highlighted the importance of responsible fisheries management, inter-agency cooperation, and partnerships in ensuring sustainable food systems and aquatic resource conservation.
