Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) proudly participated in the SUC III Olympics 2025, held from February 22 to 28, 2025, at Pampanga State Agricultural University in Magalang, Pampanga. The event brought together student-athletes from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) across Region III, providing a platform for sportsmanship, excellence, teamwork, and camaraderie among higher education institutions.
Representing BASC with determination and pride, the college delegation competed in several sporting events and achieved notable success. The Arnis team emerged as one of the strongest performers, earning 7 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 15 bronze medals. The Taekwondo team also delivered an impressive performance, securing 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals. In Lawn Tennis, BASC athletes won 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals, while the Mobile Legends Men team captured 5 silver medals. The Chess team contributed 2 silver medals to the college’s tally, and both the Baseball and Softball teams earned 9 bronze medals each.
Overall, BASC accumulated a total of 68 medals, comprising 9 gold medals, 17 silver medals, and 42 bronze medals. These achievements reflected the dedication, discipline, and perseverance of the student-athletes, coaches, trainers, and support staff who worked tirelessly in preparation for the competition. Through their collective efforts, BASC secured 10th place in the overall rankings of the SUC III Olympics 2025.
The college’s participation in the regional sports event not only showcased athletic talent and competitive spirit but also strengthened institutional pride and fostered unity among students. The accomplishments of the BASC delegation serve as an inspiration to the academic community and reaffirm the institution’s commitment to holistic student development through sports and extracurricular engagement.
