On May 9, 2025, from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, a Discrimination Awareness Seminar was successfully conducted to promote inclusivity, respect, and equality within the academic community. The seminar featured Ma’am Lorena N. Manalastas, Teacher III of Akle High School, as the guest speaker, with the support of Ma’am Ronalie Ascaño, OSAS Designate, who helped facilitate the meaningful learning activity.

The seminar provided participants with valuable insights into the different forms of discrimination, their effects on individuals and communities, and the importance of fostering an environment founded on respect, empathy, and equal opportunities. Through engaging discussions and awareness-building activities, attendees were encouraged to become advocates for diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility within the campus and beyond.

The activity reinforced the institution’s commitment to cultivating a safe, welcoming, and discrimination-free learning environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute positively to society.
