Bocaue, Bulacan – The project management team of the DOST-PCAARRD-funded extension project, “Expanding the Women-Led Chemical Pesticide-Free Integrated Backyard Farming in Bulacan,” continue to push forward with its mission to promote sustainable backyard farming in the province.

On January 13, 2025, project leader Dr. Imee D. Esguerra, along with Dr. Imelda S.A. Navarro, Mrs. Aisanne Marie McNatt, Mr. Rodelio T. Alejo, Mr. Denvir Godoy, and Ms. Ashlee M. Viagedor, visited the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bocaue. The team conducted a project orientation with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), led by Ms. Ana Liza M. Following the orientation, the team proceeded with site validation of the identified beneficiaries, assessing backyard farm areas for their suitability and ensuring they meet the project’s selection criteria.
