“EXPANDING THE WOMEN-LED CHEMICAL PESTICIDE-FREE INTEGRATED BACKYARD FARMING IN BULACAN” MARCH 19, 2025
BOCAUE BULACAN – The BASC project management team of DOST-PCAARRD-funded project, “Expanding the Women-Led Chemical Pesticide-Free Integrated Backyard Farming in Bulacan” in collaboration with the Municipal Agriculture Office of LGU-Bocaue, Bulacan distributed farm inputs to the 20 women farmer beneficiaries who are members of Juanang Pangkabuhayan ng Bocaue earlier today, March 19, 2025.
Each of the 20 women beneficiaries received tomato, eggplant, hot pepper, finger pepper, lemon grass, madre de agua, papaya seedlings and organic fertilizer for their vegetable production component of their chemical-pesticide-free integrated backyard garden that they will establish in their respective areas.
This initiative aims to empower women farmers by promoting sustainable, chemical pesticide-free farming, contributing to food security and economic opportunities in the community.
