PRES TAN INKS MOU WITH RAISE ADVISORY COUNCIL IN CENTRAL LUZON
Clark City, Pampanga—The Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC), represented by Dr. Jameson H. Tan, alongside 28 members of the Region 3 Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Advisory Council, formalized their commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on August 16, 2024. The signing took place during the 2024 Agri-Aqua Innovation Pitch Fest, held at Royce Hotel in Clark City, Pampanga.
The MOU marks a strategic agreement to advance the RAISE program’s objectives of building a dynamic, innovation-driven ecosystem. The event was attended by representatives from various state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government agencies. Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) serves as the chair of the RAISE Advisory Council, while DOST-PCAARRD holds the co-chair position.
The RAISE Advisory Council aims to cultivate an environment where ideas and technologies in the agri-aqua sector can thrive, be commercialized, and forge new partnerships. This collaborative platform is expected to boost innovation, technological advancement, and sustainability in the region’s agricultural and aquaculture industries.
Dr. Tan’s participation in this milestone event underscores BASC’s ongoing commitment to creating new opportunities in the agri-aqua sector.
