The VKV VLV Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive was successfully conducted in Barangay Sta. Catalina Matanda on February 8, 2025, providing free anti-rabies vaccinations to more than 139 pets. The initiative aimed to prevent the spread of rabies and promote a safer and healthier community for both people and animals.
The activity was made possible through the support and cooperation of Barangay Sta. Catalina Matanda and responsible pet owners who brought their animals for vaccination. By ensuring that pets receive proper immunization, the program helped protect not only animal health but also the safety and well-being of families and the wider community.
The vaccination drive highlights the importance of responsible pet ownership, preventive healthcare, animal welfare, and collective community action in working toward the elimination of rabies.
