BASC Sustainability

GOAL 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation

The Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) is making commendable strides towards Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG 9), which focuses on “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.” Through the establishment of its Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management Center, BASC is actively contributing to the development of industry and innovation. These centers serve as vital platforms for nurturing innovation, protecting intellectual property, and promoting entrepreneurial ventures. They encourage the recognition and equitable distribution of intellectual property rights, driving research and development activities that align with the principles of SDG 9. They support technology transfer and strengthens the capability of the workforce, contributing to regional economic growth and sustainable development. Additionally, BASC’s investment in ICT infrastructure and in-house information systems streamlines processes, promotes technological innovation, and optimizes the sharing of educational and administrative resources among campuses, effectively enhancing infrastructure development.
